Joe Maddon owes Aroldis Chapman a steak dinner after the pitcher needed just three pitches to get three outs in the ninth inning on Thursday night.

"When you're in the minor leagues, you actually give a pitcher a steak dinner for a four-pitch inning," Maddon explained. "He got it in three, so I have to make it a really good steak dinner."

The Chicago Cubs went on to win 4-3 over the St. Louis Cardinals in 11 innings. Chapman was the fifth Major League pitcher to throw a three-pitch inning this season.
