After a strong rehab stint in the minors, it appears Craig Wilson is more than ready to return to the major leagues. The Pirates activated Wilson from the 15-day disabled list, ending his recovery from a torn tissue in his left middle finger. The 28-year-old Wilson suffered the injury swinging a bat in a game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on May 6. He was placed on the DL two days later and underwent surgery on May 10. At the time of the injury, Wilson was hitting .296 (24-for-81) with a home run and seven RBI in 26 games. In five games with Triple-A Indianapolis of the International League, he hit .412 (7-for-17) with three homers and eight RBI.
