The Miami Marlins are looking for pitching and have held preliminary talks about trading for Jake Odorizzi of the Tampa Bay Rays and Drew Pomeranz of the San Diego Padres, according to a source.

Miami is pursuing upgrades to the rotation and bullpen at this point.

The Marlins are five games back of the Washington Nationals in the National League East and one game back in the Wild Card race.
