With Eduardo Rodriguez nearing his return from the disabled list, the Boston Red Sox could remove Clay Buchholz from the starting rotation.

John Farrell admitted that Buchholz's spot is in jeopardy after another poor performance on Thursday night against the Colorado Rockies.

"I'm here to pitch. If I don't have a spot, that's part of it," Buchholz said. "If I don't like it, pitch better. I'm not demoralized. The team's still winning. I'm basically the only one that's struggling."

The Red Sox have a $13.5 million option on Buchholz's contract for 2017.
