Felix Hernandez allowed two runs over seven innings to guide the Seattle Mariners over the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday night.

It marked the 146th win of Hernandez's career, moving him past Jamie Moyer for most in franchise history.

"It means a lot," Hernandez said. "It's an honor to be on top of that list. I'm happy for that. It was a great team effort, great win for us."

He improved to 8-0 with a 1.67 ERA and 80 strikeouts in 11 starts against Tampa Bay at Safeco Field.
