The Chicago Cubs defeated the Cincinnati Reds 16-0 on Thursday night as Jake Arrieta tossed his second career no-hitter.

"I envisioned pitching like this even when I had a 5 [ERA] in Baltimore," Arrieta said after the game. "Regardless of how long it took or what I had to go through to get there."

Arrieta is 4-0 in four starts this season with a 0.87 ERA. He didn't even have his best stuff against Cincinnati.

"He was definitely off," David Ross said. "He was probably off for the first four or five innings."
