The Toronto Blue Jays received a scare on Wednesday when Troy Tulowitzki left the team's spring training game against the New York Mets after being hit by a pitch on the right hand.
Tulowitzki suffered a bone bruise on the knuckles of the first and second fingers. He is day-to-day.
X-rays taken were "precautionary," according to manager John Gibbons, and revealed no abnormalities.
