Braves first baseman Freddie Freeman left Friday's spring training game because of discomfort around his right hand and wrist.

The Braves said Freeman was removed from the game for precautionary reasons after the second inning, when he appeared to shake his wrist after an inning-ending strikeout.

Freeman told reporters that he planned to address the matter Saturday.

Freeman was hampered by a right wrist injury for much of last season and missed 44 games.
