Jose Fernandez is healthy, but the Miami Marlins still plan to discuss how to best maximize the innings the 23-year-old will throw in 2016.

The Marlins are expected to cap Fernandez at around 180 innings this season. The club plans to sit down with the right-hander shortly after Spring Training begins.

Fernandez, who underwent Tommy John surgery on May 16, 2014, made 11 starts in 2015 and threw 64 2/3 innings.
