The St. Louis Cardinals are awaiting potential punishment from Major League Baseball after a former club executive pleaded guilty Friday to multiple counts of illegally accessing confidential information in the database of the Houston Astros.

"I imagine it's certainly a possibility," John Mozeliak said. "But I can't speak for" the commissioner’' office.

Mozeliak is limited in what he can say until former scouting director Chris Correa is sentenced on April 11, but he is confident that no other member of the Cardinals front office will be implicated.
