The Kansas City Royals are among the clubs with "strong interest" in signing Ian Kennedy.

Kansas City is expected to make a push to sign Kennedy now that Alex Gordon has been re-signed.

According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, the Royals are also looking at Wei-Yin Chen and Yovani Gallardo.
