The Washington Nationals, amid reports that Bud Black will be their next manager, have decided to offer the job to Dusty Baker.

According to USA Today, talks between the Nationals and Black hit a snag, which prompted the team to reverse course and reach out to Baker. He hasn't managed since parting ways with the Cincinnati Reds in 2013.

Washington reportedly offered Black a two-year deal worth less than $2 million, which he turned down because it was less money than he expected.
