The Detroit Tigers have hired Rich Dubee as their pitching coach.

Dubee, 58, was a longtime pitching coach for the Philadelphia Phillies before joining the Atlanta Braves organization as a minor league pitching coordinator in 2013.

"Rich is someone who brings great experience and a proven track record of success with major league pitching staffs," Brad Ausmus said in a news release. "He will be a solid complement to our coaching staff, and I look forward to working with him."
