The Chicago Cubs defeated the St. Louis Cardinals 6-4 on Tuesday night to advance to the NLCS.

Kyle Schwarber, Anthony Rizzo and Javier Baez homered for the Cubs, who clinched a postseason series at Wrigley Field for the first time ever.

"This is all just baseball fantasy, right?" chairman Tom Ricketts said.

Only once since they brought the World Series home in 1908 had the Cubs won a playoff series, and never before had they finished the job at their century-old ballpark.
