Byron Buxton has been working on his bunting with Minnesota Twins coaches as of late.

The rookie outfielder has the speed to use bunts as a skill that could limit slumps and distract opposing defenders.

Paul Molitor has noted that with Buxton's speed, he doesn't need to drop a perfect bunt to get on base. He just needs to keep from popping them out or sending them foul.

"Buxton's bunt wasn't perfect, but I think he's learning he doesn't have to be perfect to be safe," Molitor said. "He's worked hard on it. He's not a guy to shy away from trying to find a way to get better. I also like the fact he's able to inject information rather rapidly into his game."
