The Seattle Mariners are advancing in their search for a general manager, having interviewed Dana Brown and Billy Eppler.

Brown, a special assistant for the Toronto Blue Jays, was scheduled to interview with the Mariners on Wednesday. Brown was formerly the scouting director with the Washington Nationals.

Eppler was also scheduled to sit down with Seattle on Wednesday.
