Nori Aoki hopes to remain with the San Francisco Giants.

Aoki, who is dealing with post-concussion symptoms, hasn't given up on returning to the club this season.

The Giants hold a $5.5 million option on the outfielder for 2016 and Aoki didn't record enough plate appearances to make the option mutual.

“I hope they pick it up because of the manager here and the players and staff,” said Aoki, through translator Kosuke Inaji. “I get along with everybody really well and I hope I’m back for next year. I want to compete for a championship here as well.”
