The Chicago White Sox have failed to meet expectations, but Robin Ventura said he still has passion for his job and wants to return in 2016.

"Absolutely," Ventura said. "People that think I don't care, that's an unfair assessment. Nobody cares more about how it's going here than I do."

Ventura is under contract through the 2016 season, as are general manager Rick Hahn and executive vice president Kenny Williams.

"We're evaluating everything," Hahn later said.
