The Atlanta Braves have promoted infield prospect Hector Olivera.

Major League rosters expand on Sept. 1, often leading to many call-ups.

Hotly pursued as a free agent out of Cuba, Olivera signed with the Los Angeles Dodgers over the winter for six years and $62.5 million. He came to Atlanta in July's three-team trade also involving the Miami Marlins.
