The New York Mets have activated Michael Cuddyer from the disabled list, but have decided to keep top prospect Michael Conforto on the Major League roster.

Eric Campbell was sent down to Triple-A Las Vegas to make room for Cuddyer.

In 11 games cine being promoted from Double-A, Conforto is hitting just .222.

"[Conforto's] handled himself very well, and I think as much as anything one of the things that gives us confidence about his continued playing time is the way he's played in left field," Mets general manager Sandy Alderson said. "We're very happy with what he's done."
