Dave Dombrowski was released from his contract with the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday, but doesn't figure to be unemployed long if he so chooses.

The Toronto Blue Jays are looking for a new CEO with Paul Paul Beeston's impending retirement and have been asking questions about Dombrowski during a behind-the-scenes search, according to multiple sources.

The Boston Red Sox are in the midst of a transition with Larry Lucchino gone and the Los Angeles Angels are in need of a general manager.

The expectation is that there may be job openings in Milwaukee and Seattle this offseason as well.
