The Boston Red Sox made a number of roster moves on Thursday, sending Joe Kelly to Triple-A Pawtucket in the process.

Justin Masterson has been chosen to take Kelly's spot in the rotation.

Kelly has a 5.67 ERA and 60 strikeouts in 74.2 innings (14 starts) this season.
