The Los Angeles Dodgers have varying theories when asked how Pederson is able to display so much power.

Howie Kendrick told Buster Olney that Pederson swings one of the biggest bats in baseball, 34 ounces and 34 inches. Alfonso Soriano and Rafael Furcal use such a bat, but few others do.
