Clayton Kershaw struck out seven batters, walked one and gave up five hits on Monday against the Colorado Rockies at Coors Field, his second consecutive excellent start.

After his May 21 start against the San Francisco Giants, Kershaw's ERA was an unsightly 4.32.

"The last two, especially, I felt happy coming out of the game, so that's a new feeling for me," Kershaw said. "I'll try to build on that for sure."
