Craig Kimbrel has a 5.68 ERA for the San Diego Padres, but the club isn't concerned about their closer.

Kimbrel had a streak of 35 consecutive saves broken on Saturday night.

"His command was terrible," an observer said of the right-hander. "He threw three pitches that almost hit guys in the head. He even threw a pick-off to first with no first baseman there. And on the pitch that was hit for a double to tie the game, he missed by three feet."

However, Kimbrel's average fastball velocity is a career-high 97.2 mph, according to Fangraphs. Opponents are hitting .345 on balls in play, which may indicate some poor luck for the reliever.
