Bartolo Colon helped the New York Mets defeat the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday, earning his Major League-leading sixth win in the process.

Colon is the first Mets pitcher to go six straight starts without issuing a walk. He has gone 40 1/3 innings without a free pass.

The 41-year-old now has a 40-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio this season.

"It's not about the velocity," Colon said through an interpreter. "It's about execution."
