The Chicago Cubs called up Kris Bryant last Friday and played him at third base, but this week he has gotten time in center field.

Bryant started in center on Thursday after subbing for Dexter Fowler, who is dealing with a right groin injury, a day earlier. With a hole in the outfield, Bryant told Joe Maddon said he preferred to play center than either of the corner spots.

"That's the position he's most comfortable with in the outfield," Maddon said.
