The Chicago Cubs will promote top prospect Kris Bryant to the Major Leagues on Friday.

The Cubs delayed his Major League debut a few weeks to delay his service time and ensure another season of club control.

Chicago's third baseman are hitting just .148, the lowest in baseball, with a .493 OPS this season.

Bryant accumulated 648 at-bats at the Triple-A level, hitting .327/.426/.667 with 55 home runs and 152 RBIs.
