The Los Angeles Dodgers may be in the market for pitching depth.

They sent Hyun-jin Ryu back to Los Angeles on Sunday to see a doctor after he reported discomfort in the shoulder that ailed him at times last season.

Ryu will begin the season on the disabled list.

Andrew Friedman says the team could potentially have interest in "more depth starting pitching, but that is no different than we have tried to get all offseason."
