Gavin Floyd will undergo an MRI on his troublesome right elbow, according to the Cleveland Indians.

Terry Francona said that Floyd, who underwent reconstructive elbow surgery in 2013 and made just nine starts for the Atlanta Braves last season before fracturing his elbow, had the imaging exam on Monday, and the team hopes to have results Tuesday.

Floyd, 32, had his spring debut postponed Sunday because of general soreness.
