The Chicago Cubs will seek permission to work longer hours on renovations at Wrigley Field.
They will not attempt to work 24 hours a day.
Cubs officials suggested Monday they would ask for city permission to work around the clock on the massive renovation project to get the iconic ballpark ready for the April 5 Opening Day.
The team wants to expand the work schedule to 6 a.m. until 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The work is now being done from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
