Matt Harvey, who was out all of 2014 while recovering from Tommy John surgery, arrived at the New York Mets' spring training complex on Monday.

It's 10 days before pitchers and catchers are due to report.

Harvey, 25, stretched, fielded ground balls and ran with a few other pitchers. He was eager to arrive in Port St. Lucie and that he feels completely healthy after a full offseason of working out.

"I've let it go pretty good," Harvey said. "We finished the year last year letting it go, and I think my last few I was out in California at [agent Scott] Boras' facilities and I threw two bullpens out there and I let a few go ... just to see where I'm at, and I was pretty surprised with the outcome and how good things feel.

"Just the way the ball's coming out, I'm pretty on point with my accuracy right now, which is surprising. Obviously hearing from guys [who came back from Tommy John surgery], that was kind of the last thing that sometimes comes. I couldn't be happier with the way things feel."
