With available free agents at the position dwindling, the San Francisco Giants may have to trade for a third baseman.

The Giants could use some of their Minor League pitchers to acquire a player to replace Pablo Sandoval, who signed with the Boston Red Sox as a free agent.

Cleveland's Lonnie Chisenhall, Miami's Casey McGehee and Boston's Will Middlebrooks could be available.
