The St. Louis Cardinals have acquired Jason Heyward and Jordan Walden from the Atlanta Braves for Shelby Miller and Tyrell Jenkins.

Heyward had an OPS of .735 with 11 homers in 649 plate appearances last season. Heyward will be a free agent next winter.

Miller had a 3.74 ERA with 127 strikeouts in 31 starts and 183.0 innings.
