The New York Mets have talked with the Colorado Rockies about trading for Troy Tulowitzki, according to sources.

New York signed Michael Cuddyer away from Colorado on Monday afternoon.

While the two sides are discussing Tulowitzki, the Mets are concerned that they can't afford the price tag that has been placed on the shortstop.
