The Colorado Rockies have signed Jorge De La Rosa to a two-year, $25 million contract extension that runs through 2016.
De La Rosa was set to become a free agent this winter.
The left-hander originally signed a $21.5 million, two-year contract in December 2010. It contained a player option for 2013 and a club option for 2014.
De La Rosa, 33, has gone 13-10 with a 4.26 ERA in 28 starts this season.
