Fans will be able to vote for a 50-year Gold Glove team, with winners to be announced at next year's All-Star break. Fifty players will be on a ballot selected by baseball historians, managers, former players, executives and reporters, the company said Friday. Voting will start during spring training, with balloting conducted on-line, on mobile devices and at retail locations. "We fully expect the ballot to reach and spark discussions across generations," Rawlings president Robert Parish said.
