The Texas Rangers are willing to eat some of the remaining salary on the contract of Alex Rios if they can trade him.

The Cleveland Indians, San Francisco Giants, Cincinnati Reds and Kansas City Royals have been linked to Rios.

The 33-year-old is batting a strong .305/.334/.430 this season, but his power has declined.

Rios is owed roughly $4.23 million of his $12.5 million salary for the remainder of the 2014 season, plus a $1 million buyout on a $13.5 million option for 2015.
