The Marlins activated Josh Beckett from the 15-day disabled list, but the right-hander left Thursday night's start against the Atlanta Braves with a possible recurrence of the blister that sidelined him. Beckett was on the DL with a blister on the middle finger of his pitching hand, the sixth time in his four full major league seasons he was sidelined by such a malady. He allowed only one hit in six innings against the Braves, but left before the seventh. Beckett went out to the mound for the seventh inning, then summoned pitching coach Mark Wiley and a trainer, who examined the problematic finger. Rookie left-hander Scott Olsen relieved Beckett.
