The Philadelphia Phillies have signed Grady Sizemore to a Minor League contract.
The veteran outfielder was released by the Boston Red Sox last week.
Sizemore will report to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday.
Boston is responsible for Sizemore's $250,000 guaranteed big-league contract counting incentives he'd already earned. If he makes it to Philadelphia, the Phillies would then pay him a prorated portion of the major-league minimum salary.
