The Tampa Bay Rays should make David Price very available via trade, writes Anthony Castrovince.

Tampa is 24-42 and far out in the American League playoff picture, but there are still a number of teams in the race that consider themselves buyers at this point.

Price is owed $14 million this year with another salary bump before he hits the open market after the 2015 season. The Rays may have trouble finding a huge haul for the left-hander, but they would be smart to take offers while the list of potential suitors is longer.

"So if the Rays are going to move him, it makes sense to move him early, before other clubs have time to identify themselves as sellers and before the value of a guy who only works every fifth day plummets in a crowded marketplace," writes Castrovince.
