Wil Myers is expected to be sidelined for more than six weeks because of a stress fracture in his right wrist.

Myers will be in a cast for five to six weeks and then start rehabilitation, the Tampa Bay Rays announced on Tuesday.

"It's no fun," Joe Maddon said. "We're counting him a lot to provide power and RBIs and hit for a good average. There are a lot of different ways he can impact a game. Hopefully we'll get him back for the playoff run."
