The Chicago White Sox plan to activate Jose Abreu for Monday's game against the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Abreu has been on the disabled list for two weeks and participated in two simulated games.

He still leads the team in home runs (15) and RBIs (42) despite being out since May 18 with left ankle tendinitis.

"Our intention is to activate him [Monday] in Los Angeles," general manager Rick Hahn said.
