Believe it or not, Eric Hosmer has comparable statistics to AL MVP candidate Chris Davis in the second half of the season.

Davis is hitting .254 with 11 home runs and an .872 OPS since the All-Star break.

Since June 1, Hosmer is hitting .322 with 15 home runs and an .883 OPS.

Davis (.315, 37 HRs and 1.109 OPS) was far superior to Hosmer (.261, 1 HR and .653 OPS) prior to the break and June 1, respectively.

The numbers have some wondering if Davis and Hosmer will be similar players over the entirety of the 2014 season.
