Travis Hafner was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise disappointing season for the Indians. Now he will watch the rest of the dismal campaign from the bench. The Indians announced Saturday that Hafner will miss the remainder of the season with a broken right hand. Cleveland's best hitter and one of the sport's premier sluggers, Hafner on Friday was diagnosed with a hairline fracture in the fourth metacarpal of his right hand. The massive designated hitter suffered the injury after being hit by a pitch from Texas Rangers lefthander C.J. Wilson on September 1.
