Chicago Cubs right-hander Matt Garza will start Wednesday at Double-A Tennessee.

Garza hasn't pitched in a game since July 21, when he left with a stress reaction in his right elbow and was shut down for the rest of the season.

After rehabbing his elbow all winter, Garza suffered a left lat strain throwing his first batting practice session in February and was shut down again.

Garza should make three more rehab starts after Wednesday's start, meaning he could return to the Cubs around May 10 against the Nationals.
