Baltimore Orioles slugger Chris Davis hit a home run in his first four games of the season, but failed to do so on Saturday as they lost to the Minnesota Twins.

"I wasn't actually thinking I need to hit a homer," Davis said. "My mind-set was more, drive in runs. Homers come and go, they come in bunches. ... My goal was never to go up there and swing for the fences. It's to do my job, simplify my approach and stay with it."

Davis, who struck out in his first at-bat, kept his RBI streak intact with a bloop single in the third inning that scored Manny Machado.
