The Baltimore Orioles recently offered Matt Wieters a multi-year contract extension, but it doesn't appear as though an agreement is within sight.

The offer is believed to be for at least five years, but the exact terms aren't known.

Asked how recent talks are going, Orioles general manager Dan Duquette said, coyly, "We'll enjoy him as long as he's here."
