The Yankees will receive Casey McGehee from the Pirates in exchange for Chad Qualls. McGehee can help fill in at third base for the Yankees while Alex Rodriguez recovers from a broken hand. McGehee became expendable following Pittsburgh's acquisition of Gaby Sanchez from Miami.
