Brandon Inge, who was cut loose by the Tigers this week, says he'll always have a special place in his heart for the franchise. "My heart will always be in Detroit, 100 percent, forever," he said. Inge has been with the Tigers since 2001, but he endured a rough start to the 2012 season that saw Detroit fans shower him with boos. "That's all right," he said. "Detroit is an emotional city, a city that will back you. But the fans want their teams to do well. And when they're not, they'll let you know. There's nothing wrong with that. "I respect them all, I really do. Whether they like you or don't like you, they're still fans. There's nothing anyone can ever do that will change my opinion of Detroit and this organization. I've been very, very proud to be part of it. It's been a class act through and through."
